E' fra queste contraddizioni e fra queste menzogne apparenti che troveremo la verità. E' fra queste spine che coglieremo la rosa misteriosa.

Noi non potremo penetrare in questo ricco giardino delle Esperidi per vedervi il bell'albero d'oro e coglierne i frutti preziosi, senza aver ucciso il drago che veglia sempre e ne difende l'ingresso.

Non possiamo andare alla conquista di questo vello d'oro se non fra le burrasche e gli scogli di questo mare sconosciuto, passando fra i massi che cozzano tra loro e si frantumano, e dopo aver annientato gli spaventosi mostri che lo custodiscono…
